Q: Why do people choose to work with you?
I am passionate about inspiring and empowering individuals to break free and feel amazing every day. This could entail being free from the debilitating effects of stress, self consciousness/ negative emotions around weight issues, health constraints preventing you doing what you enjoy most, worried about how to keep your loved ones healthy etc.
Having worked in the corporate sector for 12 years, I understand the challenges of a stressful job, not finding time to prepare healthy meals after a long day, trying to keep in shape when time seems so scarce, and fighting an ongoing battle with weight that just doesn’t want to shift! I believe everyone deserves to feel their best and feel empowered to follow their dreams, no matter what age or stage of life they are. My clients tell me that I help them believe that change is possible! I am also trained as a Coach and NLP practitioner and take a practical and non judgemental approach encouraging small changes, which ultimately lead to big differences over time. YOU CAN DO THIS! Q: What are your Qualifications?
I am a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist and Weight Loss practitioner, as well as qualified NLP Practitioner. I am a member of the IICT (Institute on international Complimentary Therapy), Health Sciences and an associate practitioner with Zest4Life.
I also undertake regular professional development training to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
Q: Do you have any specialisms?
Yes, in my years of working in a high profile corporate role I have been exposed to the effect of stress at all levels, including how it can impact on personal life, weight and health issues. I have also always enjoyed cooking and have searched for ways to make meals healthier yet just as tasty whilst maintaining a healthy weight and want to share this with others looking to keep their loved ones healthy whilst providing tasty meals. Completing the NLP practitioner course reinforced the understanding of how our emotions, mindset, thoughts and diet are all intertwined and impact our lifestyle and health.
I have recently joined zest4life and their Low GL Nutrition and Weight Loss programmes. The program solidifies all aspects I have experienced over the years and in am excited to be in a position to share these easy to implement lifestyle changes to others, so you too can benefit and feel great. No calorie counting, all food groups included, no meal replacements – simply wholesome and delicious food for the whole family!
Q: Why is your approach so successful?
It is important to recognise that ‘knowing’ what to do and what food choices to make is only the start of the journey. The key to success is coaching. My approach intertwines motivational coaching with all my programs to deliver long term, sustainable lifestyle changes that become second nature.
Integrating coaching into all my programmes, I support each client through their challenges, seeking long terms solutions so they are equipped to manage all situations going forward.
